Conscious Acts of Creation by William Tiller

Conscious Acts of Creation

The emergence of a new physics

This DVD is featuring Dr. William Tiller who is a professor at Stanford University. The DVD is based on his book by the same name. It is 1.5 hour of seminar/lecture were Tiller is explaining the results of his research on how human intention (thoughts) alters material properties and chemical reactions.

In simple words he explains how we influence our own reality by our own intentions, and that there is a need for a new understanding of physics. The old paradigm is that human intention has no influence on material properties of any kind. His findings show results that suggest that human intention has great influence.

He also states that nature is richer then the models we use to describe it, and that our way of seeing things is what limits us. The example he gives is from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s when scientists recommended people not to go into the study of physics anymore because all questions related to physics were already answered.

In the seminar he shows the results of 3 key experiments that they have done to test how human intentions influence material and chemical properties. The experiments are:

1 Increasing or lowering the pH of water.

2 Increasing the activity of a certain type of liver enzyme.

3 Reducing the development time of fruit fly larvae.

For everyone interested in alternative medicine, healing and meditation it is not big news that our thoughts affect physical reality. But to students, scientists or medical professionals that are trained in the classical western traditions, this is ground breaking news.

Tiller talks about the meridian system, the chakra system and uses words like spirit, soul and sacred spaces. This is not very common amongst scientist and it gives the message a special tone. He explains how we condition spaces with our intention (conscious or sub-conscious), and how those conditioned spaces affects the outcome of experiments done within them.

The film can be a bit heavy to digest if you are not familiar with physics, but is still worth seeing because in between he explains in simple understandable words what he is actually saying.

If you are very new to alternative thinking, I suggest that you see ‘What The Bleep Do We Know’ first. That is a more simple to understand and entertaining introduction to the new paradigm.

William Tiller is one of the many scientists interviewed in ‘What The Bleep Do We Know’.

For the rest I highly recommend Conscious Acts of Creation to anyone interested in medicine (traditional, alternative, complementary, classical or whatever you name it) or in self development/spiritual growth. If you do not like to watch DVD’s, you can get the book by the same name.
